The game follows the story of the popular Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man and his arch-nemesis, the Green Goblin.

Players can play as either Spider-Man or the Green Goblin in various missions that involve combat, exploration, and stealth gameplay. The game features an open-world environment that allows players to freely explore the city of New York and complete various side missions.
