Who is Soren?
In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Soren is a character from the movie “Captain Marvel” (2019). She is a Skrull, a shape-shifting alien race involved in the Kree-Skrull War.
Soren is portrayed by actress Sharon Blynn. In the film, she and her husband, Talos, are refugees fleeing from the Kree Empire’s oppressive rule. They seek help from Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel) after crash-landing on Earth.
As a Skrull, Soren possesses the ability to assume the appearance of other individuals, making her a master of disguise. However, unlike some Skrulls, she is not malicious or aggressive. Instead, she and her family are portrayed as victims of the Kree’s expansionist and oppressive tactics.
