Joy To The World

In Joy to the World, lifestyle guru Joy Edwards has built her brand—and her public image—around the idea of the “perfect” holiday life: a cozy home, festive décor, a loving family, and an effortlessly joyous Christmas. But behind the scenes, she’s scrambling to keep the image intact. When Joy is unexpectedly invited to co-host a live Christmas Eve special, the pressure skyrockets. With no real partner and an incomplete family tableau, she turns to her longtime friend Max to step in as her faux husband. As the cameras roll and the holiday magic begins, Joy finds the script of her life turning sideways.

Max is game for the role, but as he slips into the part of husband-and-family-figure, real feelings start to emerge. Joy begins to see that the flawless image she’s been selling might not match her true heart. What starts as a photo-opched fake life becomes an unexpected pathway to genuine connection. Directed by Jerry Ciccoritti, this rom-com blends festive cheer with the chaos of keeping up appearances—and reminds us that sometimes the best holiday magic happens when we drop the act and let ourselves be vulnerable.
