Disney Unveils Blockbuster 2025 Theatrical Lineup: Marvel, Pixar, and More

On the heals of a strong 2024 rebound at the box office, Disney has unveiled its theatrical release schedule for 2025, featuring a diverse lineup of films across its major brands.
The year kicks off on February 14 with Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Brave New World,” followed by the live-action adaptation “Disney’s Snow White” on March 21. April 11 brings 20th Century Studios’ thriller “The Amateur,” and on May 2, Marvel’s “Thunderbolts” is set to debut.
Disney’s live-action “Lilo & Stitch” arrives on May 23, with Pixar’s original film “Elio” releasing on June 13. Marvel’s “The Fantastic Four: First Steps” is slated for July 25, and “Freakier Friday,” a sequel to the 2003 comedy, is scheduled for August 8.
An untitled Disney film is set for September 12, while “Tron: Ares” is expected on October 10. 20th Century Studios’ “Predator: Badlands” releases on November 7, followed by Disney Animation’s “Zootopia 2” on November 26.
The year concludes with “Avatar: Fire and Ash” on December 19. This schedule highlights Disney’s commitment to delivering a variety of content, from live-action remakes and sequels to original stories, catering to a broad audience.
