Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Premieres Early on Disney+ with Two-Episode Debut

Disney+ has announced that “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” will premiere earlier than initially scheduled. The series is now set to debut its first two episodes on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 6 p.m. PST, a day ahead of the original December 3 release date.
Set during the New Republic era, “Skeleton Crew” follows four children who, after a mysterious discovery on their home planet, find themselves lost in a dangerous galaxy. Their journey to find their way home draws inspiration from classic adventure tales like “The Goonies” and “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.”
The series features Jude Law as Jod Na Nawood, alongside young actors Ravi Cabot-Conyers (Wim), Kyriana Kratter (KB), Robert Timothy Smith (Neel), and Ryan Kiera Armstrong (Fern).
Following the premiere, new episodes will be released weekly on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. PST. The complete release schedule is as follows:
- December 2: Episode 1 (directed by Jon Watts) and Episode 2 (directed by David Lowery)
- December 10: Episode 3 (David Lowery)
- December 17: Episode 4 (The Daniels)
- December 24: Episode 5 (Jake Schreier)
- December 31: Episode 6 (Bryce Dallas Howard)
- January 7: Episode 7 (Lee Isaac Chung)
- January 14: Episode 8 (Jon Watts)
