Very Cool: Missing Pins & Lanyard Returned to Autistic Girl via Social Media

Here is a story that is sure to give you a good feeling going into the weekend…

ABC7 reported yesterday about the amazing power and reach of social networking. Apparently a Disney cast member found a lanyard left at a Disneyland pin release with a note attached that said “hello I am autistic and I don’t talk much but would like to trade Mickey pins.” The cast member took to Facebook and Instagram to spread the word in hopes of finding the owner.

After thousands of shares, she did indeed find the lanyard’s owner and was able to return it to the young girl that had lost (along with a few extra pins).

What a great story!
