Count Dooku, also known as Darth Tyranus, is a fictional character from the Star Wars franchise. He is a Sith Lord and first appeared in the 2002 film “Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones.” He is a former Jedi Master who fell to the dark side of the Force and became the Sith apprentice of Darth Sidious. He is known for his formidable fighting skills with a lightsaber, his mastery of the dark side of the Force, and his political acumen as the leader of the Separatist movement. He is portrayed by actor Christopher Lee in the prequel trilogy films. He plays a major role in the Clone Wars, leading the Separatist droid army against the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order.
