Alex Russo is the main character in the Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place, which aired from 2007 to 2012.
Portrayed by Selena Gomez, Alex is a witty and mischievous teenage wizard living in New York City. She is part of a magical family where she and her two brothers, Justin and Max, must compete to determine who will retain their magical powers into adulthood.
