Who is Amaya?
Amaya, also known by her superhero alter ego Owlette, is one of the main characters in the animated children’s series “PJ Masks.” The show first premiered in 2015 and is produced by Entertainment One and Frog Box. Amaya/Owlette is one of the three young heroes who make up the PJ Masks team, alongside Connor/Catboy and Greg/Gekko.
In the series, Amaya is a regular schoolgirl during the day, but when nighttime falls, she transforms into Owlette. As Owlette, she possesses special powers, including the ability to fly with her winged cape, super owl vision, and the power to launch feathers as projectiles.
Amaya’s superhero persona, Owlette, is characterized by her red costume with wings, a mask, and owl-like features. She is often seen as the most responsible and mature member of the PJ Masks team, providing guidance and strategies during their missions.
Amaya’s personality is caring and compassionate, and she values teamwork and friendship. She has a close bond with her fellow PJ Masks members, and together, they work to thwart the plans of various nighttime villains, such as Romeo, Luna Girl, and Night Ninja, who threaten the city while the rest of the world sleeps.
