Who is Amos Slade?

Amos Slade is a fictional character from the Disney animated film “The Fox and the Hound” released in 1981. He is voiced by actor Jack Albertson. He is a hunter and the main antagonist of the film, who sees Tod the Fox as a pest and wants to kill him. He is portrayed as a rough and gruff man, but also as a complex character who is struggling with his own demons. He is shown to have a strong bond with his hunting dogs, Chief and Copper, and is also seen to be a good mentor for Copper. He is also a neighbor of the Widow Tweed, who takes care of Tod, and the two have a rivalry because of the fox. He is known for his hunting skills and his rugged appearance, and is considered to be one of the most iconic Disney’s villain.
