Who is Amy?
Amy is a character from the Disney Channel Original Movie “Under Wraps,” which is a remake of the 1997 film of the same name. The movie was released on October 1, 2021.
In this reimagined story, Amy, along with her 12-year-old friends Gilbert and Marshall, accidentally revives a mummy they discover in a neighbor’s basement a few days before Halloween. They affectionately name the mummy Harold and must rush to return him to his resting place before midnight on Halloween.
In the 2021 version of “Under Wraps,” Amy is portrayed by Sophia Hammons. Sophia mentions that the character Amy is quite different from herself, indicating that Amy likely has a distinct personality or set of characteristics in the movie.
The 2021 film follows the adventure of the three preteen friends, Amy, Marshall, and Gilbert, as they navigate the challenges of dealing with the awakened mummy, Harold, aiming to resolve the situation they find themselves in due to the accidental revival of Harold.
