In one memorable scene, the group travels to the animated island of Naboombu, where animals rule and humans are not allowed. Fisherman Bear is a comical, friendly bear they encounter while on this island. He is seen fishing by the sea when the characters arrive, and he helps them by giving directions and advising them about the island’s laws.

His personality is laid-back and cheerful, and though he plays a small part, his lighthearted nature contributes to the whimsical tone of the Naboombu sequence.

Fisherman Bear was voiced by the legendary voice actor Dal McKennon, who is known for his work in various Disney films and television shows.
