Who is Bloat?

Bloat is a character from Pixar’s animated film Finding Nemo. He is a pufferfish who resides in a fish tank at a dentist’s office in Sydney, Australia, along with several other aquarium inhabitants.

Bloat is a member of the “Tank Gang,” a group of fish who share the tank with Nemo after he is captured and placed there. As a pufferfish, Bloat has the ability to inflate his body dramatically when he feels stressed or threatened, making for some humorous moments in the film.

Bloat is known for his friendly, but sometimes overdramatic, personality, and he takes part in the group’s attempts to escape the tank. His distinct puffing ability is used both as a defense mechanism and comic relief in the movie.

The character of Bloat is voiced by Brad Garrett, a well-known actor and comedian. Garrett’s deep voice and comedic timing bring a lot of charm and humor to the character. He is also recognized for his work in television, most notably for his role as Robert Barone in the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond.
