Who is Cagney?
Cagney is a minor character in the animated series Gargoyles, which aired in the 1990s. He is not a gargoyle himself but rather a pet cat belonging to Elisa Maza, a detective in New York City and a close ally of the gargoyles.
Cagney is mostly seen in Elisa’s apartment, adding a touch of normalcy and warmth to her otherwise intense life dealing with supernatural beings and conflicts.
