Who is Captain Dan Holland?

Captain Dan Holland is a central character in Disney’s 1979 science fiction film The Black Hole.

As the captain of the exploratory spacecraft USS Palomino, he leads his crew on a mission to discover habitable planets. During their journey, they encounter the long-lost USS Cygnus near a massive black hole.

Captain Holland is portrayed by actor Robert Forster, known for his roles in films such as Jackie Brown and Medium Cool.
