Who is Celia Mae?

Celia Mae is a character from Pixar’s animated film Monsters, Inc. She works as the receptionist at the titular energy factory, which is powered by the screams (and later, laughter) of children. Celia is known for her distinctive appearance, with a single eye and a head of snake-like hair—a playful nod to Medusa from Greek mythology.

Celia is also the girlfriend of Mike Wazowski, one of the film’s main characters, and their relationship is portrayed with humor and affection. She’s sometimes seen teasing Mike but genuinely cares about him, even though his antics often get him into trouble. Her playful and somewhat sassy personality adds warmth and fun to the story.

Celia is voiced by actress Jennifer Tilly, whose unique and recognizable voice brings an extra layer of charm to the character.
