Who is Celia Mae?

Celia Mae is a character from Pixar’s animated film Monsters, Inc. She works as the receptionist at the titular energy factory, which is powered by the screams (and later, laughter) of children. Celia is known for her distinctive appearance, with a single eye and a head of snake-like hair—a playful nod to Medusa from Greek mythology.

Celia is also the girlfriend of Mike Wazowski, one of the film’s main characters, and their relationship is portrayed with humor and affection.
