Who is Clopin Trouillefou?

Clopin Trouillefou is a character from the Disney animated film “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” (1996). He is the central antagonist of the film and the main antagonist of the film’s climax. Clopin is a gypsy king and the leader of the Court of Miracles, a secret community of outcasts who live in the catacombs beneath Notre Dame Cathedral. He is a charismatic and flamboyant figure who is known for his storytelling and his ability to play the hurdy-gurdy. He is voiced by actor Paul Kandel. He is also the narrator of the movie, and is responsible for most of the storytelling. In the climax, he is revealed to have orchestrated most of the events in the movie in order to get his revenge on Frollo, the main antagonist of the movie, who had killed his wife.
