Who is Clotho?
Clotho is one of the Three Fates from Greek Mythology, and is featured as a character in the Disney animated film “Hercules” (1997) and its spin-off television series “Hercules: The Animated Series” (1998-1999). The Three Fates are Lachesis, Clotho, and Atropos, who were responsible for spinning, measuring, and cutting the thread of life, respectively. Clotho is the Fate who spins the thread of life. In the film and series, Clotho is portrayed as a kind and wise character who helps Hercules on his journey to become a true hero. She is voiced by actress Amanda Plummer in the film and series.
