Who is Colonel Hathi?

Colonel Hathi is a character from the 1967 Disney animated film “The Jungle Book.” He is an Indian elephant who is the leader of a herd of elephants. He is known for his military-like discipline and is respected by other animals in the jungle. He is voiced by actor J. Pat O’Malley in the film. He is also known for his famous dialogue “Marching song” from the film.
