Who is Cri-Kee?
Cri-Kee is a character from the 1998 Disney animated film “Mulan.” He is a lucky cricket who befriends Mulan and serves as a companion to her throughout the film. He is voiced by actor Eddie Murphy in the film. In Chinese folklore, crickets are considered symbols of good luck and fortune, and Cri-Kee’s presence is said to bring Mulan good luck and fortune. He serves as a comic relief in the film and is seen accompanying Mulan on her journey to save China. Cri-Kee also appears in the Disney’s Mulan sequel, Mulan II.
