Who is Dallben?

Dallben is a character from Disney’s animated film The Black Cauldron (1985), which is based on Lloyd Alexander’s The Chronicles of Prydain series.

In the film, Dallben is an elderly, wise enchanter and guardian to the protagonist, Taran. He lives on a small farm in Prydain and serves as a mentor figure, teaching Taran important lessons about courage, responsibility, and the dangers of ambition.
