Who is Dick Tracy?
Dick Tracy is a fictional detective character created by American cartoonist Chester Gould. The character first appeared in the Detroit Mirror newspaper comic strip on October 4, 1931, and was later featured in a long-running comic book series, as well as a number of films, television shows and other media.
Dick Tracy is known for his distinctive yellow raincoat and two-way wrist radio, and for fighting crime in the fictional city of “Big City.” In 1990 a live action film was released by Walt Disney Pictures directed by Warren Beatty.
