Who is Doc Hudson?
Doc Hudson is a character in the 2006 Disney-Pixar animated film “Cars.” He is voiced by actor Paul Newman. Doc is a 1951 Hudson Hornet, who is a legendary figure in the world of Radiator Springs, the small town where the movie takes place. He is a retired race car and once a three-time Piston Cup champion, who now serves as the local judge and physician for the town. He becomes a mentor for the main character, Lightning McQueen.
