Who is Dolly?
Dolly is a supporting character in Disney-Pixar’s Toy Story series. She is a small, soft-bodied doll with purple hair, big eyes, and a sewn-on smile, resembling a handmade rag doll.
Dolly plays a significant role as one of Bonnie’s favorite toys, becoming part of the new gang introduced in Toy Story 3 when the toys are brought into Bonnie’s world.
As one of Bonnie’s trusted toys, Dolly has a kind and nurturing personality, often acting as a motherly figure to the group. She is supportive, fun-loving, and quick to take charge, especially when it comes to helping Woody and the other toys understand their new lives with Bonnie. Dolly also has a witty, sometimes sarcastic side, which makes her interactions with other characters enjoyable and adds to the lightheartedness of the series.
The character of Dolly is voiced by actress Bonnie Hunt, known for her roles in films like Cheaper by the Dozen and The Green Mile, as well as her voice work in other Pixar films like Cars (where she voiced Sally Carrera).
