Who is EVE?

EVE (which stands for Extraterrestrial Vegetation Evaluator) is a character from the Disney/Pixar animated film “WALL-E.” She is a sleek, white, and advanced robotic probe sent to Earth to search for signs of plant life and to determine if the planet is habitable again. She is the love interest of the titular character, WALL-E. She is voiced by actress Elissa Knight in the film.

EVE is a strong, independent and determined robot, who is programmed to complete her mission at all costs. However, as she interacts with WALL-E, she starts to develop emotions and starts to question her programming.

With WALL-E’s help, she eventually discovers a small sprout of a plant which represents the chance for Earth’s recovery. The two robots fall in love and EVE becomes the catalyst for the restoration of Earth and the return of humanity.
