Who is Flit?
In the Disney animated film “Pocahontas,” Flit is a hummingbird and a close companion of Pocahontas, the main character of the film. He is voiced by actor Frank Welker. He acts as a guide and a confidant to Pocahontas, helping her navigate the challenges she faces as she tries to understand and reconcile the differences between her people and the Europeans who have come to her land. He’s a small but wise character, always giving advice and helping Pocahontas in her journey. His role in the movie is secondary but he’s a supporting character that is part of Pocahontas’ inner circle.
