George is a furry, orange-colored monster known for his robust build and a single horn on his head. He’s a lovable and somewhat unlucky character who works at the Monsters, Inc. factory, alongside key characters like Sulley and Mike. Although George isn’t one of the main protagonists, he is memorable for his recurring misfortunes throughout the film, often involving incidents related to child contamination. One of the running gags in the movie involves George accidentally getting contaminated with items from the human world, which leads to the Child Detection Agency (CDA) stepping in and “decontaminating” him in an over-the-top fashion. These scenes contribute to the film’s humor and showcase the strict rules the monster world has about humans.

George Sanderson is voiced by Sam Black, a longtime Pixar employee who has worked on several Pixar films in various roles, including as a character designer and additional voice actor.
