Jessie Prescott is the titular character from the Disney Channel television series “Jessie.” She is portrayed by actress Debby Ryan.
Jessie is a young woman from Texas who moves to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She ends up becoming a nanny to the Ross children, and throughout the series she helps them navigate the challenges of growing up in the big city while also trying to pursue her own dreams. She is a kind, compassionate, and hardworking person, who is determined to be a positive role model for the Ross children. She is also shown to be funny and smart, and has a good relationship with her employer and the kids.
