Who is John Carter?

John Carter is the main character in the Disney animated film “John Carter“. He is a former Confederate soldier who is mysteriously transported to Mars, where he becomes embroiled in the planet’s political and societal conflicts. John Carter is depicted as a brave and charismatic individual, who is willing to put himself in harm’s way in order to protect those he cares about. The character was played by Taylor Kitsch.
