Who is Judy Hopps?

Judy Hopps is a character from the Disney animated film “Zootopia.” She is the first rabbit police officer in the city of Zootopia, and the main protagonist of the film.

She is determined, optimistic, and ambitious and wants to prove herself as a capable officer, despite the prejudices and discrimination that she faces as a small, prey animal in a city of larger, predator animals. She is voiced by actress Ginnifer Goodwin in the film. She teams up with a con artist fox named Nick Wilde to solve a missing mammal case and in the process, they both learn valuable lessons about prejudice and stereotypes. The film deals with themes of diversity, bias and discrimination and has been praised for its representation of different cultures, races, and species.
