Who is Kovu?
Kovu is a fictional character in the Disney animated film “The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride.” He is a young lion who is chosen by Scar to be his successor as the king of the Pride Lands. Kovu is initially raised to hate Simba and his pride, but he eventually falls in love with Simba’s daughter, Kiara, and joins the Pride Lands. Kovu’s journey to find his own place in the world forms a central part of the film’s plot.
