Who is Lady Mouse?

Lady Mouse is a minor character in Disney’s animated film The Great Mouse Detective (1986). She is a wealthy, elegant mouse who serves as a client seeking the services of Basil of Baker Street, the titular detective.

Lady Mouse is depicted as refined and aristocratic, consistent with her apparent high social status. She appears at Basil’s home at 221B Baker Street to consult him about a stolen diamond bracelet. However, her introduction is cut short when Dr. Dawson arrives at Basil’s residence with Olivia Flaversham, shifting Basil’s attention to the film’s central mystery.
