Who is Lafayette the Basset Hound?
Lafayette is a character from Disney’s 1970 animated film The Aristocats. He is a laid-back and slightly dim-witted basset hound who, along with his partner Napoleon (a bloodhound), serves as comic relief in the movie. The two dogs live on a farm in the French countryside and are known for their humorous interactions and bickering.
Lafayette is characterized by his droopy ears, slow demeanor, and deep loyalty to Napoleon, although he often tries to assert himself in their partnership.
