Who is Madame Medusa?

Madame Medusa is the main antagonist in the 1977 Disney animated film “The Rescuers.” She is a greedy and cunning woman who runs a pawn shop and has a scheme to retrieve a diamond hidden in a dangerous swamp. To do so, she kidnaps a young girl named Penny and forces her to find the diamond.

Madame Medusa is portrayed as a dangerous and manipulative character, who will stop at nothing to get what she wants. She is known for her distinctive appearance, with wild curly hair and oversized glasses, as well as her evil and cunning personality.

Throughout the film, Madame Medusa is pursued by the two brave mice, Bernard and Bianca, who are part of the international rescue organization “The Rescuers.”
