Who is Martin?
Martin is a minor character from Disney-Pixar’s Brave (2012). He is introduced as a servant to King Fergus and Queen Elinor in the royal castle of DunBroch. While his screen time is brief, Martin’s presence contributes to the film’s richly detailed world. He is primarily seen assisting with tasks around the castle and is part of the chaotic backdrop when Princess Merida’s actions disrupt the daily life of the royal household.
Although Martin doesn’t play a significant role in advancing the story, his inclusion adds depth to the castle environment and showcases the dynamics of the kingdom. Like many secondary characters in Pixar films, Martin is part of the tapestry that supports the central narrative and enhances the overall immersive experience.
The character of Martin was voiced by the talented actor Steve Purcell, who is better known for his contributions as a writer, director, and voice actor at Pixar.
