Who is Maudie?

Maudie is a minor yet memorable character in Disney-Pixar’s 2012 animated film Brave. She serves as the castle maid for the DunBroch family, which includes Queen Elinor, King Fergus, and their headstrong daughter, Princess Merida.

Maudie is a warm-hearted and somewhat nervous individual who often finds herself inadvertently caught up in the chaotic antics of the royal family. Her most notable scenes include her reactions to the mischievous pranks of Merida’s younger triplet brothers—Harris, Hubert, and Hamish—and the magical mayhem that unfolds throughout the story.
