Who is Maudie?
Maudie is a minor character in Disney-Pixar’s animated film “Brave,” released in 2012. She is a supporting character who appears briefly in the movie.
Maudie is a maid who works in the castle of King Fergus and Queen Elinor, the parents of the film’s protagonist, Princess Merida. While her role is not central to the film’s plot, she provides comic relief through her interactions with other characters, particularly when she attempts to help Queen Elinor.
One of Maudie’s memorable moments occurs when she tries to assist Queen Elinor in her efforts to teach Merida the responsibilities of being a princess. Maudie’s humorous attempts to support the queen in this endeavor add lighthearted moments to the film.
