Who is Michael Banks?
Michael Banks is a fictional character from the story “Mary Poppins” by P.L. Travers. He is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Banks, and the older brother of Jane and John. He is portrayed as a serious and responsible young boy who is often tasked with looking after his younger siblings. He is also shown to have a close relationship with his father and to be a bit of a loner. The character was played by Matthew Garber.
