Ms. Darbus is a character in the 2006 Disney Channel Original Movie “High School Musical.” She is a drama teacher at East High School and is depicted as a strict and no-nonsense educator who is dedicated to her students and the performing arts. Despite her initially gruff demeanor, Ms. Darbus eventually warms up to the students and becomes a supportive figure in their pursuit of their musical dreams. Throughout the “High School Musical” franchise, Ms. Darbus remains a central character and a beloved figure among fans of the films. She was played by Alyson Reed.
