Who is Ojo?

Ojo is a vibrant bear cub and a central character in the children’s television series Bear in the Big Blue House. She is known for her boundless imagination, curiosity, and inquisitive nature, often inventing creative games and adventures.

Ojo is a natural planner and organizer, displaying determination in her pursuits; as Bear notes, “once Ojo sets her mind to something, there’s no stopping her.” Despite her confidence, she can occasionally be shy. Ojo has her own room in the Big Blue House and shares a close friendship with Treelo, the lemur. She cherishes her stuffed toy, Snow Bear, and enjoys activities like riding her bicycle around Woodland Valley, initially with training wheels and later independently.

Honey is among her favorite treats, a preference she shares with Bear. Ojo’s character is brought to life by puppeteer Vicki Eibner, who provides her voice and movements.
