Who is Oogie Boogie?
Oogie Boogie is a fictional character and the main antagonist of the 1993 Disney animated film “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” He is a burlap sack filled with bugs and is known for his sadistic, gambling-loving personality and his menacing deep voice. He is voiced by Ken Page.
Oogie Boogie is the ruler of Halloween Town and plots to take over Christmas Town as well, but his plan is foiled by the film’s protagonist, Jack Skellington. He is also known for his catchphrase “Oogie Boogie’s Song” and his iconic appearance, which features a burlap sack body and a skull-like face. He is a popular villain among the fans and has appeared in other forms of media such as video games, comic books and theme park attractions.
