Who is Pacha?
Pacha is one of the main characters in Disney’s animated film “The Emperor’s New Groove,” released in 2000. The film is a comedy-adventure that tells the story of Emperor Kuzco, who is transformed into a llama and must rely on the help of Pacha, a humble villager, to regain his throne.
Pacha, voiced by actor John Goodman, is a kind-hearted and good-natured farmer who lives in a peaceful village in the Andes. He is a loving husband to his wife Chaca and a devoted father to his two children. Pacha’s life takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with Emperor Kuzco, who has been transformed into a llama and seeks Pacha’s assistance in returning to the palace.
Throughout the film, Pacha’s character is portrayed as a contrast to the arrogant and selfish Emperor Kuzco. Pacha represents humility, community values, and the importance of helping others. Despite Kuzco’s initial disdain for Pacha and his village, the two form an unlikely friendship as they embark on a journey to undo the curse and save the kingdom.
