Who is Peso?

Peso is a central character from The Octonauts, a beloved children’s animated television series created by Meomi Design and produced by Silvergate Media.

The series focuses on an adventurous team of underwater explorers who protect marine life and solve undersea mysteries. Peso serves as the medic of the Octonauts, embodying compassion and a deep desire to help others. Recognizable by his penguin form, Peso is soft-spoken and sometimes shy, but he courageously overcomes his fears to care for creatures in need. He is often seen providing first aid, calming injured sea creatures, and offering encouragement during high-stress situations.

Despite his initial timid demeanor, Peso’s bravery shines through when emergencies arise, making him a relatable and endearing character for young viewers. His catchphrase, “Flappity flippers!” is a favorite among fans, emphasizing his charming personality.

In the English version of the show, Peso is voiced by Paul Panting in the UK and Adam Idah in the US.
