Who is Pip?

Pip is a lovable chipmunk from Disney’s Enchanted, a live-action/animated musical fantasy film released in 2007.

Pip is a loyal companion to Giselle, the film’s protagonist, who begins her journey in the magical animated land of Andalasia. A small but brave creature, Pip has an energetic personality, often expressing his thoughts through exaggerated gestures and chirping sounds, especially during the film’s animated segments.

When Giselle is sent to the real world by the villainous Queen Narissa, Pip follows her to New York City, where he tries to help her navigate her new surroundings. In the real world, Pip cannot speak but still conveys his emotions and intentions through animated expressions, squeaks, and body language. His determination to protect Giselle and outwit the Queen’s minions adds comic relief and emotional depth to the story.

Pip was voiced by Jeff Bennett during the animated portions of the film. Bennett is a renowned voice actor with an extensive career in animation.
