Who is Prudence?

Prudence is a character from Disney’s “Cinderella II: Dreams Come True,” which is a direct-to-video sequel to the classic animated film “Cinderella.” The sequel was released in 2002 and is divided into three separate segments, each telling a different story within the Cinderella universe.

In “Cinderella II: Dreams Come True,” Prudence is introduced as a supporting character. She is the castle’s strict and rule-bound lady-in-waiting. Prudence is often tasked with teaching Cinderella how to act as a proper princess and follow the protocols and traditions of the royal court.

Throughout the film, Prudence is portrayed as a well-meaning character who takes her role very seriously but can be somewhat uptight and rigid in her adherence to etiquette. She often finds herself at odds with Cinderella, who is more laid-back and compassionate.
