Who is Randall Boggs?

Randall Boggs is a fictional character from Disney and Pixar’s Monsters, Inc. and its prequel, Monsters University. He is one of the main antagonists in Monsters, Inc. and serves as a rival to the franchise’s protagonist, James P. Sullivan (Sully).

Randall is a lizard-like monster with the ability to blend into his surroundings, a trait he uses to his advantage as he competes to be the top scarer at Monsters, Inc., a company powered by the screams of human children.

In Monsters, Inc., Randall is portrayed as ambitious, cunning, and ruthless, willing to resort to unethical means to achieve his goals, including kidnapping a child, Boo, to harness her screams for energy.
