Who is REM-E?
REM-E is a character in the Disney/Pixar animated movie “WALL-E” (2008). He is a small, insect-like robot who is programmed to clean and maintain the Axiom spaceship, which is home to the human survivors of Earth. REM-E is a cheerful and helpful robot who befriends the title character, WALL-E, and aids him in his quest to save the humans and restore the Earth. Despite his small size, REM-E is a formidable character who is able to use his cleaning tools in unexpected ways to help WALL-E in his mission. He is voiced by sound effects artist Ben Burtt in the movie.
