Who is Ryder Nattura?
Ryder Nattura is a character introduced in Frozen 2, the sequel to Disney’s acclaimed animated film Frozen. He is one of the Northuldra people, a tribe living in the Enchanted Forest, who plays a supportive and engaging role in the story.
Ryder is an adventurous and spirited individual with a love for reindeer, much like Kristoff. Unlike Kristoff, who communicates with his reindeer companion Sven through imaginative monologues, Ryder’s connection with reindeer stems from his deep respect for and understanding of them in a naturalistic way, learned from his life in the forest. This shared interest quickly bonds Ryder and Kristoff, leading to some lighthearted and memorable interactions.
Ryder is the younger brother of Honeymaren, another key Northuldra character, and he is fiercely loyal to his family and his community. His optimism and enthusiasm are contagious, helping to lighten the mood during the group’s more serious moments. Ryder’s character reflects the harmony between the Northuldra people and nature, emphasizing themes of environmental stewardship and coexistence.
Ryder is voiced by actor Jason Ritter, known for his roles in television series such as Parenthood and Gravity Falls.
