Who is Strip “The King” Weathers?
Strip “The King” Weathers, often simply referred to as “The King,” is a character in Disney-Pixar’s animated film “Cars,” released in 2006. He is a veteran race car and a seven-time Piston Cup champion.
The King is known for his regal appearance, blue coloration, and the number “43” on his sides, which is his racing number. He is voiced by NASCAR legend Richard Petty, which adds authenticity to the character.
