Who is Taran?
“Taran” is the main protagonist in the 1985 Disney animated film “The Black Cauldron.” He is a young pig keeper who dreams of becoming a great warrior and sets out on a quest to destroy the titular Black Cauldron, an evil tool of the Horned King, before it can be used to revive an army of the undead. Along the way, Taran teams up with a ragtag group of allies, including the Princess Eilonwy and the bard Fflewddur Fflam, as he learns about courage, friendship, and the importance of standing up for what is right. Taran is voiced by actor Grant Bardsley in the film.
